i stopped by serendipity books in berkeley the other day and was taken away to a magical shop. the place is filled from top to bottom, back and forth, side to side, pile upon pile, bags upon bags of books.....i especially loved the colors of the spines of all these old books together and think they make an amazing palette. there were books from the 1600's even, they were gorgeous. the shop owner could care less where i had lost myself among the passageways and i spent some time just navigating myself around the whole place. i will definitely be back with more time. also, since i wasn't sure if i could take pictures or not i was trying to be very sneaky. now, that i know it is okay, i will have more pictures in the future.
it has been ages since i have posted anything new on here! i wanted to shares some images i took a couple years ago of seattle's public library designed by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas and former Seattleite Joshua Ramus. the library is really a work of art in my eyes. check out this gorgeous space. later today or tomorrow i will also post some pictures from michael and i's trip to japan last may. i took over a thousand pics and it has taken some time to sort through them....
