Back from Paris!

the trip was very magical with many special moments. i have so many pictures to share, but this may be one of my favorites, the beautiful denni from chicmuse.  i will be posting many more soon once i have organized myself.  for now it is some laundry and fighting a very bad cold i picked up on my last day there...a bientôt!

Oh Mon Dieu!

I sure am having a hard time keeping up here!  We had a surprise visit from my sister over the weekend and tomorrow morning we are off on an adventure to the City of Lights!!!  I can hardly wait!  I will surely be updating when I return if not sooner!!!  For now I am off to slumber and dream of adventures to come....

Back from Outer Space

Phew!!! I did not mean to fall off the blogging bandwagon like that!  It really just happened by accident! One thing led to another and here I am 3 weeks later with my first post since August!  Daily life happenings just snuck up on me and time zoomed by.  I have not had very much time on the computer these past few weeks as I have been busy with visits from family, home improvement projects, and enjoying the last of the official summer.  Although, here in Northern California, looks like we still have some beautiful warm weather coming our way.  There are some very strange weather patterns here indeed.  Not to worry, I've still been keeping my eye out for inspiration every where I go so I will be updating again with regular frequency.  I also have a very special vacation coming up in ONE week so keep posted for more on that!!!  XO!

Patrick Dougherty

I love these wood structures created by artist Patrick Dougherty. Each structure is site specific.   I was really excited to learn that this September he will be working on a structure in a very dear to me park, Dumbarton Oaks in Georgetown, D.C.  I cannot wait to check it out next time I am there!  I promise to post pictures whenever that might be!  Here are a few of my favorite ones:
