I am so excited that I finally got to make it out to General Store! The store was laid out beautifully and had a warm and inviting feel to it. They had many beautiful items selected to drool over but I was smitten with all the cool lamps they had. I even got to say hello to a cute doggie that was quietly going to and fro in the shop. She reminded me so much of Sadie!! After I left the shop I came across a cute little coffee shop right next door. I was lured in by the look of the place and soon I found myself sipping a coffee and trying to keep myself from buying one of their delicious cookies, which they told me they serve with a shot of milk! The rest of the photos I took while wandering around Golden Gate Park.

Christina, these are three places Epito and I would like to visit next time we come to your area! I loved the General Store -- it must be like stepping back in time-- and that doggie must be Sadie's "relative," she stands like her, looks like her, and her expressions are like Sadie's, too! And the park, and the birds! I love everything, everything!!!
ha! that is so funny. I just looked at all your pictures first and then read you post and thought the same things and went to leave a comment and realized that mom said everything I was thinking! So ditto on that!
Also, I love that they sell coconuts at the cafe....mmmmm.
