Sea Flora

We found this tucked away in a little nook at the very end of the beach.  I loved the bright, vivid colors and composition!

Loving Auriculas

Now that Spring is slowly sneaking around the corner I've got some flower fever. I recently discovered this flower via a beautiful article in UK House and Garden. The flowers remind me so much of the drawings that we all used to make when we were little! With a beautiful pronounced center, a flat face, and colors that seem as if they could only come from one's imagination...The Double auriculas are a little different but too beautiful not to include. (Sorry for the poor quality of some of the photos.)

Colors

I really like how these colors go together. One a plant I came across on a walk and the other some graffiti from Montreal!

Fleurs et Coquillage

I have to wait on further posts until I finish a project I am working on for work. Until then, flowers and seashells....some treasures Michael and I came across. I'll have some new goodies soon, they are in the works!

Happy October

I know I have already mentioned how much I love Fall, but...have I mentioned how much I love Fall!!!? September is a wonderful month but October is when it really starts to blossom into full on fall. I love that pumkins are arriving in stores, pumpkin patches are being set up, leaves are starting to turn, and one of my favorite holiday's of the year, is right around the corner....Halloween!! I can't wait to set up the front porch for our trick-or-treaters! In the meantime I will be visiting some pumpkin patches and taking in the last of the beautiful dahlia's at Golden Gate Park!

Justin Hawkins and Urban Weeds

I took this picture of my friend, Justin Hawkins, many years ago when I used to live in Seattle! I really like the bright colors he was wearing contrasted with the beautiful fall foliage. I just came across a new picture of Justin, while I was browsing this blog, Urban Weeds, about street style based out of Portland, Oregon. 8 years later his style has changed a little but still looks like Justin!

Gardenspiration Tuesday

I took these images in and around the Bay Area. Our garden is currently a patch of dirt and dried up grass. I hope to soon have some green growing out of the ground. We have started with a pink jasmine vine and some beautiful grasses. I'll post some pictures when they have grown a bit.
