Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad
I want to share this beautiful photo of my parents. I wish I had the original but alas it is across the country in their house. One day I will post some originals...until then I would just like to say Happy Anniversary to the best parents a daughter could ever ask for, I love you both so much.

Fleurs et Coquillage
I have to wait on further posts until I finish a project I am working on for work. Until then, flowers and seashells....some treasures Michael and I came across. I'll have some new goodies soon, they are in the works!

Kate by Bert Stern
I've posted photos of Kate Moss before but I wanted to share this photo I stumbled upon of Kate by photographer Bert Stern. Bert Stern is most widely known for his body of work, The Last Sitting. The Last Sitting is a collection of over 2000 photographs taken in a three day span of Marilyn Monroe 6 weeks before her untimely death. The images he created then have become such an integrated part of our visual history. Now 50 years later Mr. Stern is in his early 80's and still producing beautiful work. This photo of Kate definitely has that same signature quality of the portraits he took back in the 60's.

Happy 13th Birthday Spoon!
That is one of Sadie's many many nicknames! I can't believe my sweet little Sadie is 13, she is still such a puppy! I love her with all my heart and our lives just wouldn't be complete without her....Tomorrow a birthday portrait! (I took this picture a couple of weeks ago and it was too cute not to post. I think she was trying to tell me something, maybe stop taking so many pictures of me?!)

Alexander McQueen
Alexander McQueen was an absolute artistic genius. The pieces that he created for his collections were individual works of art. His masterful manipulation of fabrics showed the thoughts of his otherwordly imagination come to life. The vibrant and fluid colors of his fabrics and his exquisite attention to detail are extraordinary. His presence and his creations will be deeply missed and it is sad to say goodbye to a such a talented artist at such a young age. Here are a few images from his Spring 2010 ready-to-wear collection that I found especially inspiring.

Riding the Bus
These are some photos I did of a bus series I was working on a little while back. Some taken on the bus and some out the window of the bus or at the bus stop. I used to ride the bus for 1-2 hours everyday and these were some of the people that I saw daily. All these pictures were taken with a Lomo L-CA.

Photographer Jessica Antola
I have really been enjoying Jessica Antola's photography. I posted one of her photograph's earlier and wanted to share a few more images of her work. I love the rich colors in her photos and the faraway places she captures. Check out more of her work here.

Faye Toogood
I am completely captivated by these interior shots from Studio Toogood styled by Faye Toogood. Faye Toogood was the Senior Stylist for one of my all time favorite magazines, The World of Interiors. I absolutely love the intense saturation of colors and of course my love of old walls with layers of colors and character. Check out the website for more gorgeous inspiration!

Belinda Baggs and Photographer Dane Peterson
I am obsessed with this gorgeous photo of the awesome surfer, Belinda Baggs taken by her equally talented husband, Dane Peterson. The first time I heard about the couple was last summer when I was browsing some magazines and came across a beautiful story about them. I love everything about this photo, from the color of the water, to her surfing style, to the composition, it's perfection! She looks like she is surfing the wave without a board! I'm not sure which is the star here Belinda Baggs or the photographer, to me it is the best of both! Thank you sfgirlbybay and choka for introducing this photo to me!

Heinold's First and Last Chance Bar
The other night Michael and I found this little bar when we were out exploring for a quiet place out of the way. Well, this place definitely fit the bill. The night we went it was perfectly cold and foggy and we even got a little lost trying to find it. The moment we stepped into the place it felt quite magical. The floor immediately slopes downward and the bar and stools sit on the tilt as well. I think after a few beers it all starts to feel quite normal! The place is teeny tiny holding only 3 tables, some standing room and a few bar seats. There is so much character and history in this little place, it's really quite special. When I went back to photograph it the bartender was so nice he even gave me homemade treats to give to Sadie. I can't wait to go back, it will have to be cold and foggy and I will have an Irish Coffee...

Lucky Find!
This was my lucky find last week!! I found it on the sidewalk! I couldn't believe my luck.... it just needed a little rewiring which was done at Omega Too just down the road from us. I loooove it and can't wait to find a good spot for it.

Wall Composition
I just put these up a few days ago but with all the gloomy weather it has been hard to get a shot. Finally for a little bit yesterday some sun streamed in and I got a quick pic:
