Domenica More Gordon

Has anyone been watching Man Shops Globe on the Sundance Channel? The show, now in it's second season is better than ever.  I have two favorite episodes so far. The first one being the episode where Keith Johnson travels to Scotland. In the episode he is searching for animal related art to raise money for a no kill animal sanctuary. My absolute favorite thing that he found in his explorations were created by this fantastic artist, Domenica More Gordon.  I just fell in love with Domenica's creations!  She creates these tiny and special felted dogs in her own home. Every creation has so much soul and personality.  She has also created these special little dogs from photos that people have sent her.  Oh, how I would love to have one of Sadie commissioned! I could not find a website for Domenica or any contact information so if anyone would like to share that it would be great!  Here are a few photos of her creations by the talented photographer, Antony Crolla:

ps - I love the photo of the artist by one of her creations... it definitely gives perspective to the size of the felted doggies (oh and by the way... upon first glance, I thought they were real!)

Oh My Goodness!!!! These are wonderful!
You should take a felting class at the^workshop in Berkeley; you could make one of Sadie!!!!

Adorable! I, like Brenda, thought they were also real. I think Courtney's idea is great. If you learn how to make these lovely felted doggies, you can make several little "Sadies" to show off her different moods!
