I had the good fortune of photographing the 40th Anniversary Gala of Chez Panisse this past Friday for the Berkeleyside. It was absolutely beautiful and spirits where high as everyone celebrated the event! You can read more about it here and I'll have a few more photos to follow tomorrow!

The Selby!
I don't think this photographer needs an introduction but here is one anyway. I feel so lucky that I had the opportunity to meet one of my favorite photographers this week, Todd Selby! His work and portraits are a continuous inspiration to me and after meeting him and seeing what a nice down to earth person he was I understood why his portraits and subjects are so relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. I have been tuned into his website anxiously awaiting every new post and keep his book close by for inspiration. This was definitely a highlight for me! I will be posting more photos from this event soon but for now you can see some of the photos I took here.

My Neighbor's Cottage
I had been oohing over my neighbors cottage for a few months now and finally got a chance to take some photos this afternoon. The cute little yellow flowers are outside the kitchen window.

Lotusland-Part 3.5 of 4
I was really happy I got to actually see the lotus in bloom as they have a very short blooming period every year!

Blue
I've come down with a little bit of a cold...the weather is so beautiful all I want to do is be outside to enjoy it. Unfortunately my body thinks differently.... at least it has given me some time to work on some projects I have been wanting to work on inside and we did get to finish seeing the Stein Collection exhibit early this morning (we had to see it in two parts!). Hope everyone is having a beautiful weekend.
